National Officer Tour

Who:

Every September, a National Officer, the 6 line officers, District Presidents, and Miss T, load up the FFA van to help put on the National Officer Tour.

What:

The National Officer Tour is a weeklong travel excursion throughout New York State. New York State FFA Officers, along with a National FFA Officer have the opportunity to visit a variety of agribusinesses, farms, FFA chapters and members in order to better promote FFA and New York agriculture at large. Throughout the week, FFA members across New York State have the opportunity to engage in workshops put on by the State Officers, attend a keynote by the National Officer, and participate in activities lead by the host FFA chapter. Every year the State Officers and the National Officer visit over 950 students state wide.

When & Where:

Each year, the locations and times of the National Officer Tour vary to ensure that different chapters have the opportunity to be visited by the tour.

How do I become involved?

Your first step is to continuously check this webpage to keep up to date on all things related to the National Officer Tour! When dates and times are posted, make sure to sign up your chapter for the events that are listed. If your chapter has not previously been involved in the National Officer Tour, encourage your chapter and its members to consider a life changing experience that only occurs once a year. Many events during the tour are local events, so make sure you register with the local chapter advisor.
